PRE-LISTING HOME INSPECTIONS
The inspection will help you minimize delays and other stumbling blocks that are often experienced when attempting to sell a home. Before you make the real estate listing for your property, we’ll thoroughly evaluate the condition of each readily accessible area. If discoveries are made that involve defective components, you can communicate that knowledge with prospective buyers so that negotiations can proceed without stalling due to avoidable issues.
Our comprehensive inspection of new home construction should be scheduled during pre-dry wall stage and final walkthrough of the property. We’ll perform a full evaluation of each readily accessible area to look for defects that you as the home-buyer need to be aware of before final closing.
RE-INSPECTIONS
Don’t let the discovery of a defective area in your prospective home get you down. We’re able to schedule a Re-inspection in the days or weeks after our original Buyer’s Inspection so that we can look back over specific areas of a property once the seller has had the original issues corrected—allowing you to confidently resume negotiations to close on the home.
Our professional Radon Testing service will help you learn for sure whether or not your prospective home is safe from the health hazards, such as lung cancer, that occur as a result of radon contamination. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that originates deep underground, slowly escaping over long periods of time. Radon is odorless and invisible, and if able to enter a home, the gas is a known health risk—so professional testing should be a priority for all prospective home-buyers.
To determine whether or not a home’s water supply is safe, it’s important to have samples of the water tested at a local laboratory before proceeding with a prospective investment. The samples we collect from the home’s tap and well will be tested for a multitude of potential contaminants, including heavy metals and pathogenic bacteria.
A Termite Inspection (also referred as Wood Destroying Inspection) includes a visual examination of the readily accessible areas of the home for evidence of wood-destroying insect activity such as termites, or carpenter ants or the visible damage caused by infestations.
Mold spores are not visible to the naked eye, and the types of mold present can often be determined through laboratory analysis of the air samples. Having samples analyzed can help provide evidence of the scope and the severity of a mold problem, as well as aid in assessing exposure to mold spores.
